'Harry Potter' So Journalist Criminal

Tokyo - Daniel Radcliffe was really trying to leave Harry Potter figure of himself. Radcliffe is rumored to be acting as a journalist covering crime in Japan, including about yakuza mafia.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wednesday, May 1, 2013, a movie called "Tokyo Vice" will start filming early 2014. Later Anthony Mandler who is a veteran director for music videos and advertisements will direct this film.

Tokyo Vice is about the experience of Jake Adelstein, crime reporter newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun. The story will start from the beginning when Adelstein became the first foreign journalist to enter Tokyo Metropolitan Police Press Club. The story will also expose about yakuza boss who perform heart transplants in California.

"I know some people are interested in adapting this book, but I think what would happen if I did not have time to tell it to the big screen. I also would have a problem if a lot of liberties taken, because this is my life story," said Adelstein.

Adelstein worked with the screenwriter, JT Roger, who is none other than his classmates. He also invited Rogers to get around Tokyo and look for the original sources of the story. Adelstein was no objection on the election Radcliffe as young as him.

For Radcliffe himself will expand the role of the character he's ever played. Recently he appeared in the film Kill Your Darlings and will appear in the film Horns and The F-Word. "Daniel Radcliffe was 24, almost the same as my age when he first became a reporter. I think he's very mature as an actor and would be great for this role," said Adelstein.
