Alien Living in Two Planet
"Alien" allegedly living in the moons of Jupiter and Saturn. This statement of the European Space Agency scientists will investigate the possibility of other life in the planet's second satellite.
Mission through Jupiter Icy moons Explorer (JUICE), the first focused exploration to Jupiter's three icy satellites. Professor Michelle Docherty, principal investigator megnetometer fields of Imperial College, will lead the ambitious mission.
"We wanted to examine whether the moons of Jupiter provide an environment that is needed to support life," said Professor Docherty, Wednesday, April 17, 2013.
JUICE mission, which was launched in 2022 and expected to reach Jupiter eight years later, will look for fluid, heat, and organic compounds in the planet's largest satellite galaxy.
Meanwhile, the UK Astrobiology Center focuses precisely on Earth. They built a laboratory under the city at a depth of one kilometer Yokrshire to examine how life survived underground.
"We look for indicators that might be found on other planets," said Professor Charles Cockrell, who led the UK Astrobiology Center, as quoted by The Telegraph.
Research findings set of Curiosity on Mars. A vehicle owned by the United States Space Agency (NASA) that found evidence of life "hiding" under the surface of Mars due to the harsh environmental conditions at the surface.
Professor Cockrell asserts search for life on other planets so far have not confirmed the presence of micro-organisms - life forms humble beginnings. "We wanted to know whether the Earth is the only place bermukimnya life," he said.
Astrobiology Research Center UK instantly sparked debate among leading scientists, who believe the search for life should be extended to other satellites of Jupiter and Saturn, do not just focus on Mars.
One of those who believe "aliens" are in Jupiter and Saturn is senior scientist of NASA Solar System Science, Robert Pappalardo. He criticized NASA prefers Mars exploration missions and delaying the icy moons of Jupiter - known as Mission Europa. "The solar system is very spacious with all the potential of life in it," he said.
Latest NASA project to identify, capture, and move the asteroid also criticized for going to swallow U.S. $ 100 million. According to Pappalardo, money that was budgeted in 2014 was supposed to be used to explore space much larger.
